In the 1980s, the Lord called Elder Stanley and Avis Wooley. Their journey began with faithful service in Conyers, GA, eventually leading them to assist another ministry for a year. This experience deepened their understanding of caring for the people of God and ignited a passion for meeting the needs of a growing ministry.

Inauguration of Atlanta Praise & Worship Center

In 1989, the Wooleys were commissioned by God to establish a ministry, which led to the formation of “Atlanta Praise & Worship Center.” Their first service, held in a converted auto shop, marked the humble beginnings of the congregation. With the support of believers and fellow ministers, the church saw steady growth and outreach efforts.

The Transition to Witness Protection Ministries

Over the years, the ministry evolved and flourished, attracting a diverse congregation of believers. Through various challenges and relocations, the ministry’s impact expanded. Eventually, the Lord revealed a new name – Witness Protection Ministries, Inc. – signifying a transformative journey akin to spiritual rebirth and protection in Christ.

As the owner of Sanctuary Sound & Lighting, Inc., he specializes in building and installing multimedia equipment for Houses of Worship. His business has flourished over the years, expanding beyond the borders of Georgia and taking his expertise and services to clients far and wide. Despite his busy schedule, Pastor Wooley has always remained committed to his faith and the ministry.

Pastor Wooley’s spiritual journey was pivotal when he received the Holy Ghost at 19 during a New Year’s Eve service in a humble house church. In the early 1990s, Lady Avis devoted her talents to the field of music, serving as a musician for the Emory State University Gospel Choir and participating in the local Atlanta gospel group IVP (International Voices of Praise).
